El jardín (The garden)
The main entrance and access to all the buildings is through the garden which is fundamental as a linking element to the other spaces and as a meeting point.

Placed in the basement, in front of the auditorium, the room has direct access from the garden and is divided in two translucent spaces without blind spots, which can work as a separate space or as two separate ones. The relative temperature and humidity conditions can control the specific needs.
Pabellón Macpherson (Macpherson pavillion)
The Macpherson pavillion was built in 1909, to the west dividing the garden, to take in the library and laboratory of geologist José Macpherson. It is signed by the architect and member of the Institution Joaquín Kramer, which used the popular or traditional architecture as a baseline for his proposal of architectural rennovation.
Completely renovated, it has a priveleged location, in a peaceful area of the garden, in front of the buildings where educative and cultural programs flourish.
