In the midst of the Spanish civil war, two teenage brothers and their cousins were going through the military conflict, the uncertainty, confinement, and subsequently, exile. To pass the time, while bombs fell, together they created a board game that interwove the surrounding wartime reality and its semiotic , and literary resources. This project analyzes the writings and drawings, prints of this game, deposited in a suitcase family lost for decades. In this presentation, the researchers interact with documents produced 85 years ago and reflect about the possibilities that play and writing bring to an extreme situation. Also, wondering about the possibilities of the written culture to the young people of today.
