Since ancient times, the literature of travel has fueled the curiosity and wonder for other cultures. Over the centuries, it has evolved, fusing adventure, history, science, and thought, but has never ceased to be a space of reflection on the world around us and about ourselves. In the modernizing project of the ILE it is essential travel. Travel allows the discovery of other worlds, and is another way of naming education, conceived as a total experience throughout the life, which is in turn a journey. This cycle is dedicated to a genre that can be a valuable ally in promoting the exchange of cultures and knowledge, and not only tolerance and respect, but also interest in the customs and opinions of the other.
