This seminar, organised in collaboration with the Residencia de Estudiantes, gives continuity to those held in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and is part of the line of work, "Democracy and Tolerance". After having dealt with in previous editions, the expansion of the populism, the patterns of political action of an iliberal nature , the growth of global inequality, the risks of climate change or the challenges that arise from the disruptions in technology. This edition will evaluate the effects generated by cultural diversity on social cohesion, as well as the ability to have democratic societies in order to process the conflicts that take place in its interior. Different experts perspectives will analyze the models of integration currently implanted in our democracies, and whether they are sufficient to overcome the social fragmentation, tribalism, and the emergence of dynamic ethno-corporatist. Also, we will reflect on the framework of the "political identity", the woke paradigm and the social tensions that are extracted from the migratory processes that affect Europe.
