No doubt the beauty and the immense wealth that we bring the classics, those marvelous works that have been taught and admired hundreds of generations over the centuries. Some lived first on a life in handwriting, and copying by scribes prevented from being lost; it is then transmitted in the printed texts of a population which in their vast majority do not know how to read, and, despite this, were read (and heard). Today, reading is within the reach of all and we have some technical means that allow us to transmit information throughout the global village. The classics are a mine of recreation, and teachings, and their reading gives us, in addition, essential cultural references. The Institución Libre de Enseñanza organises these days, with relevant specialists in order to continue spreading, as it did since the beginning, the rich cultural heritage of the humanity that represent our classic, to continue to enrich our thinking and fantasy.
