The project "Learning science/Making science (in nature)" includes a schedule of activities for science education in the format of practical workshops and tours of teaching. They are conducted in a context of non-formal education in leisure and free time, and are aimed at girls and boys between 7 and 12 years old, in order to familiarise them with science and to awaken in them their scientific vocation. Throughout each activity, children can learn the fundamentals of some basic scientific principles and personally carry out simple research and experimentation tasks whose subject matter is fundamentally related to nature and the environment, orienting its activities to the promotion of the values associated with sustainability. With this, the aim is to bring children closer to the scientific method by encouraging curiosity and rigour.
